Meeting Facilities

Bowdoin’s wide variety of lecture, seminar, and conference rooms make it an ideal location for summer conferences.

Druckenmiller Hall is home to Bowdoin’s Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, and Geology departments, and it is equipped with state-of-the-art scientific research equipment.

Bowdoin has many different classroom styles to offer its summer conference guests. Druckenmiller 16 (above) offers lecture-style seating for 100 at fixed, tiered tables. This room has video/data projection equipment, a Macintosh computer (Virtual PC), 2 slide projectors and an overhead projector. Wheelchair seating and assisted listening are available.

Chances are, whichever space you end up choosing for your conference or lecture, there will be a great reception area nearby for coffee, cookies, and other refreshments. Everybody needs a study-break – just ask Bowdoin students!

Searles Science Building is home to a number of lecture halls, smaller seminar rooms, and even computer labs.

Need to give a PowerPoint® presentation? No problem. Lecture halls are equipped with computers, data projectors, VCRs, DVD players, and more. Bowdoin’s Audio/Visual Department is here during the summer to help you with any technical details.

More formal meeting and reception spaces are also available to our summer conferences. This particular room has a seated capacity of up to 100.

In the past, summer guests have used Morrell Gymnasium for vendor booths or poster displays.
