Accommodations at Bowdoin

Housing options for summer guests include renovated college houses (formerly fraternity houses), spacious upper-class student dormitories, and college-affiliated apartments. Bowdoin’s residential buildings are not air-conditioned, but fans are available to guests for a small deposit fee. (Photo – MacMillan House)

College houses and dormitories are conveniently located on or directly adjacent to the Bowdoin College campus so that almost all of the college’s facilities are within a five to ten minute walk of your residence. (Photo – Quinby House)

Relax in your house or dorm’s common room with co-workers or fellow conference members after a long a day of workshops, lectures, and discussions. (Photo – MacMillan House Lounge)

Upon arrival, guests will find their rooms furnished with bed linens, a pillow, towels, and a drinking cup. Each guest is provided a bed, desk, chair, and bureau. While a maid service is not available, the Summer Programs Department does provide clean sheets and towels at the Coles Tower Information Desk upon your request.

The Bowdoin paraphernalia shown here does not come with the room. Sorry!
