Karofsky Faculty Encore Lecture
Presented by Professor Richard Morgan, "What’s a Conservative, Daddy? (All you’ll ever need to know)"
Location: Kresge Auditorium, Visual Arts Center
"The common hour provides a space in the calendar for all members of the College to participate together in an event and, in doing so, will help knit us together more strongly as a community." - Craig McEwen, Dean for Academic Affairs
Beginning in Fall 2004 the Common Hour format will be refocused to increase attendance and enhance the program. Instead of being scheduled each week, Common Hour will now occur every other Friday while classes are in session. For those weeks when a Common Hour gathering is not held, that 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m. time slot will remain unscheduled, with the hope that departments and programs will use the hour to engage students and colleagues in conversation and activities.
