In the spring of each year, the English department awards eleven prizes. These prizes are competitive and are awarded to current Bowdoin College students.

Submissions may be handed in at the English department office in Massachusetts Hall. The deadline for submission of entries will be in mid-April. (This year's date will be announced in March). All prizes, except the Pray Prize, will be awarded as part of the College's Honors Day program in May, and the names of the winners will be printed in the commencement program.
