The organizing committee invites all Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin Economics majors to register for and participate in the 2011 CBB Economics Conference. The conference will be held all day on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
The conference offers students the opportunity to attend Economics faculty research presentations, participate in discussions, and collect ideas for future independent-study courses, honors projects, and other research endeavors.
The conference also offers Junior and Senior Economics majors an opportunity to present posters encapsulating their advanced independent-study or honors-thesis work. Poster presenters will be named CBB-Mellon Scholars and have the privilege of discussing their work with the combined CBB faculty and other students during a lunchtime poster session.
Posters representing all fields of specialization within economics will be accepted. To propose a poster, send an e-mail to Prof. Steve Meardon (firstname.lastname@example.org) including your name, the project title, and the name of a faculty member who has agreed to sponsor the poster. Proposals should be sent by *Monday March 14th, 2011*.
