Holly Sherburne, Director of Digital and Social Media

  • Direct the development and implementation of digital and social media technologies to optimize connectivity between Bowdoin and its audiences.
  • Oversee best practices to ensure digital content is available, easily consumed, and reflects standards of the Office of Communications.
  • Research the needs and challenges of the College to understand what may be addressed with new digital media toolsets.
  • Monitor and interpret digital analytics to ensure best practices and maximize ROI.

David Francis, Senior Interactive Developer

  • Lead the College’s overall digital development strategy, driving functional design changes across the entire web site and developing new ways for the college to manage, publish, and maintain information.
  • Plan and implement new strategies working closely with user interface and technology teams.
  • Integrate internal business systems with outward facing communications such as Bowdoin's website and external platforms such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Juli Haugen, Technology Integration Specialist

  • Train, consult, and support campus constituents in integrating technology that will allow them to connect most effectively with their audiences.
  • Facilitate the adoption of digital media toolsets into daily workflows and procedures, and advise on College-wide standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with individual departments and offices to understand their business processes to inform development of new digital toolsets.

Chelsea Doyle, Digital Community Manager

  • Cultivate connections and affinity to Bowdoin through digital and social media.
  • Manage the College’s primary social networks and advise, consult, and train campus constituents on effective use of social media to promote and advance the Bowdoin brand.
  • Drive the College’s digital communications strategy to strengthen and maximize engagement with the College.
