[Sharon King]]]> After almost 27 years of diligent and dedicated service to Bowdoin College, Rich McKeen will be leaving Bowdoin to pursue other interests in a much warmer climate!

Rich came on board on September 15th, 1986 and wore many hats during his stay. He started as a Heating Plant operator and was in that role until 1988, then moved into the Plumbing Shop through 1997, made another move into the Environmental Controls Shop until 2008, and finally moved into the newly formed Mechanical Services Shop as Field Supervisor. Rich’s institutional knowledge, skill-sets within multiple mechanical disciplines, and perseverance and troubleshooting abilities are second to none. He will be greatly missed!

Please join us to congratulate him for a job extremely well done and to give him best wishes in his new endeavors. We will be having a “coffee break” gathering at 9:00am Friday, May 24th in the Mechanical Services Shop at Rhodes Hall, and then that afternoon an after work gathering starting at 3:30pm at the Seadogs Brewery in Topsham.
