The Museum of Art is hosting its first Andrew W. Mellon Curriculum Development Workshop from May 29-31, 2013. This program will introduce participants to the benefits of teaching with the Museum’s many resources. Faculty members will also schedule individual sessions, according to their schedules during the summer, to view and research works from the permanent collection that relate to specific teaching goals. A knowledge of art history is not necessary and inter-disciplinary projects are encouraged.
We are holding an information session on Wednesday, April 3 at 4:15pm. Please meet in the Museum’s lobby, near the museum shop. This session will introduce aspects of the Workshop and walk you through the application process. Please call or email Sarah Montross (x3743; mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan to attend. If you can’t make it, feel free to contact me with any questions.
