Spring Meditation Offerings (Lindsay Moore)

Weekly Meditation Training with Toby Sifton, MS, L.Ac.
Mondays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Meditation Room, 3rd Floor Buck Center

Learn to practice mindfulness…synchronize body and mind… and make friends with yourself…just as you are.

Guided Meditations on Gratitude, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity
Tuesdays 7:00 – 7:45 pm with Dr. Bernie Hershberger, Ph.D.
Location: Meditation Room, 3rd Floor Buck Center
This is a good class for beginning meditators, and those who want to grow their loving kindness capacities toward self and others. It begins with a brief teaching followed by a 10-15 minute guided meditation.

Trusting Basic Goodness: Finding the Buddha Within
Tuesdays 7:45 – 8:15 pm with Dr. Bernie Hershberger, Ph.D.
Location: Meditation Room, 3rd Floor Buck Center
Within each of us there is basic goodness and Buddha nature – the whole of spiritual practice is finding our way home to our true nature. This class will involve a brief teaching and discussion – followed by a 20 minute, silent, meditation.

Meditation: A New State of Mind with Lisa V. Blake, M.A.
Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:00 pm in Meditation Room, 3rd Floor Buck Center
Meditation and mindfulness are entering the national conversation about education, health, and wellness. The 21st century will revolutionize the way we approach learning, health and happiness. According to new discoveries linking science, mind, and compassion there are many benefits in store.

Meditation In Nature with Ouda Baxter
Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the Meditation Room, 3rd Floor Buck Center
You are invited to come sit, move, stretch, and dance, as you delve inward to find and inhabit the still point. Guided nature imagery, poetry and aromatherapy help us to move further into a place of rest and lightness. May this space be one of revitalization and insight, a place of calm within your life.
