The Ying Quartet will perform at Common Hour, Friday, February 8th. George Lopez, Bowdoin College's Beckwith Artist-in-Residence, will perform with the group as part of this special Common Hour concert.
The Ying Quartet occupies a position of unique prominence in the classical music world, combining brilliantly communicative performances with a fearlessly imaginative view of chamber music in today’s world. Members of the quartet are Ayano Ninomiya, violin; Janet Ying, violin; Phillip Ying, viola; David Ying, cello.
This event is free and open to the public; no tickets required. The Ying Quartet’s performance is part of a multiday residency at the College.
