Anjali Dotson, Class of 2004, is working on an independent project entitled "Zooplankton feeding behavior and selectivity basd on Alexandrium spp. toxicity." It is a project to investigate whether the degree of intracellular toxicity in red tide algae affects the feeding selectivity of zooplankton grazing in mixtures of food types that mimic natural field conditions.
