The stipend for fellowships is typically $3,200 for full-time research over eight weeks of the summer or part-time research during the academic year. In addition, a housing allowance of $200 covers the cost of college housing for summer projects. Requests of up to $500 to cover expenses (e.g., laboratory supplies, analytical costs, and travel beyond the local area to do field work) will be considered as part of the award.
