Kate Bathras, Employer Relations Coordinator
Kate Leach Bathras is responsible for planning on-campus recruiting events and finding opportunities for students to connect with various types of employers. She also oversees Bowdoin's participation in off-campus recruiting events.
Kate is a member of the Bowdoin Class of 2004, and has been working at the College since 2005, initially as the Assistant Director of Summer Programs and more recently as a Program Advisor in Student Activities. She is enthusiastic about continuing to work with Bowdoin students in her role in Career Planning.
Originally from South Portland, Kate now lives in Topsham with her husband, Tim, and their cat and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, cooking and practicing yoga. She also has a passion for travel, having studied in Bamako, Mali and Barcelona, Spain during her time as a Bowdoin student. While she takes any opportunity to travel to new places, she loves calling coastal Maine home.
