Reciprocity Services
As a Bowdoin student or alum, you may wish to use the print resources in the Career Planning library, but are away from campus and not easily able to return to campus. In this case, you may request permission to use the Career Planning resources available at another college or university closer to you through our reciprocity program.
To request reciprocity services, please contact the Career Planning Center. We will then email the Director of the office whose services you wish to use. Please be aware that not all colleges and universities offer reciprocal services, usually due to the high volume of their own students using their materials. Reciprocal services are usually limited to books and periodicals, and do not generally include counseling appointments or access to password-protected websites specific to their institution.
