Summer Grants
Requirements
To be selected for the grant, a student must complete an application and turn it in before the deadline. As the selected recipient of the grant, there are several further requirements that must be fulfilled at the end of the experience: a budget summary, evaluations by the student and the sponsor, and a photo journal.
Budget Summary
Recipients must present receipts, canceled checks, etc. upon completion of the experience to demonstrate proper use of the funds according to their proposed budget.
Student Evaluation
Students must complete an evaluation form[doc] and write an essay about their experience.
Sponsor Evaluation
The recipient's sponsor must fill out an evaluation form[doc]. The evaluation must be satisfactory.
Photo Journal
Students are given a digital camera to create a photo journal of their experience.
