Downloadable Wordmarks
The Bowdoin wordmark is a trademarked image. Its use is limited to materials produced by, or on behalf of, Bowdoin College, and should be used only with permission. Use of the Bowdoin wordmark suggests institutional endorsement of a publication and, as such, it may not be appropriate on all materials produced at Bowdoin (for example, personal correspondence or some student group materials). If you are uncertain about whether or how to use the wordmark, please contact Andrea Richards in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs.
Download Formats
EPS: For use with graphics software such as Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, for example, by professional designers, printers, and manufacturers. If the wordmark will be placed in professionally designed files for offset or digital printing or manufacturing, select the EPS format. Files are compressed in ZIP format.
JPEG: For in-house printing and use in programs such as Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher. Note that JPEG files degrade over time. Please return to this site to retrieve a new file for each use.
Web-ready: For Web-ready wordmark files, please e-mail Andrea Richards with the needed dimensions and a general description of their intended use.
