5:00 p.m. – Cap and Gown orders are due for all Seniors, there is no charge!
8:30 a.m. – Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal. All graduates are required to attend the rehearsal! Please meet in front of Baxter House.
10:00 a.m. Regalia pick-up in Daggett Lounge, Thorne Hall, immediately following the rehearsal.
4:30 p.m. - The Baccalaureate Ceremony, held in Watson Arena, marks the official close of the academic year and the coming together of graduates and their families. It includes music, a speech by a graduating senior, and a keynote address by one of the honorary degree recipients. We encourage all seniors and their families to attend this special ceremony. No tickets required. Note: You do not need to wear your regalia to Baccalaureate. Seating is general; you may sit with your family and friends.
8:20 a.m. - Seniors meet to check-in and form parade at Baxter House.
9:20 a.m. - Seniors begin Commencement Processional March from sidewalk area in front of Baxter House.
10:00 a.m. - The 208th Commencement Exercise will take place outdoors on the Terrace of the Walker Art Building. Rain location: Watson Arena. No tickets required. You may bring as many guests as you wish.
6:00 p.m. - College Housing closes for all students. Please note that seniors must be out of College housing by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, at which time their housing access cards will be deactivated. Permission to stay beyond 6:00 p.m. must be arranged through the Office of Residential Life.
