Completing the Major

The following are some common ways to complete the Chemistry or Biochemistry major.

Chemistry Major:

  1. Starting with Chem 101 and Math 161
  2. Starting with Chem 109 and Math 171
  3. Starting with Chem 225

CHEMISTRY MAJOR: PATH #1.

1. Chemistry Major Starting with Chem 101 and Math 161 in the First Year

* Chem 251 can be taken before or after Chem 252. Physics 104 should be taken prior to or concurrently with Chem 251 and Math 181 is recommended.

**Chem XXX: Chem 232 and courses at the 300 level or above
