Overview - About the Catalogue
Bowdoin College prints a limited number of Catalogues for the Offices of Admissions and Student Affairs, advisors, and archives. It contains primarily academic information, including courses and requirements. The Catalogue is updated each spring and printed in the summer. Information therein is accurate as of July 15.
In addition to the information included in the printed Catalogue, the online Catalogue includes the history of the College and its buildings, a section devoted to the Division of Student Affairs, lists of College committees, alumni and community organizations, names of Trustees and Officers of Administration, and Bowdoin’s Environmental Mission Statement. The online Catalogue is updated each spring and early summer. The information included is accurate as of August 1.
The Courses of Instruction section of the Catalogue is offered in both the printed Catalogue and the online Catalogue. The information in print and online is identical, and is accurate as of July 15. For more up-to-date course information, use the Course Finder.
