Leslie Joy Simmons, Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor. Kripalu yoga invites “meditation in motion” using mindfulness, breathing, poses and relaxation to develop a strong and flexible body, a quiet mind, and a compassionate heart. Yoga practice begins “on the mat” but it lives in the poses we choose to hold in our daily lives. Yoga is a dynamic moving practice of learning to listen deeply to what we need at any particular time in life and recognizing that as the circumstances of our lives change, our practice may need to transform as well.
