Public poetry reading: 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 (Memorial Hall, Pickard Theater)
Richard Blanco stands as the youngest, first Latino, and first openly gay Presidential inaugural poet. He will hold a book signing in David Saul Smith Union 3-4pm on Friday, October 25.
In addition, Blanco will present a poetry reading in Pickard Theater on the evening of October 25, 7:30-9:30 p.m. This is a ticketed event with priority given to current students and their families.
Tickets are free of charge and available at the David Saul Smith Union Information Desk (starting October 16 for students, October 21 for faculty/staff). A limited number of community tickets will be available on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The event is sponsored by Office of Multicultural Student Programs, Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, the Latin American Studies Program and Student Activities.
