Efforts for Peace in the Middle East: A Palestinian Perspective

J Street U Bowdoin will be hosting Nizar Farsakh, the Director General of the Palestinian Delegation to the US, on Friday May 10th at 2:30PM in the Beam Classroom(Visual Arts Center). 

Mr. Farsakh will address his vision for peace and share his experiences as a leading member of the Palestinian diplomatic core in the US and a former member of the Palestinian negotiations team.

Previously, Mr. Farsakh was a Policy Advisor with the Negotiations Support Unit in Ramallah between 2003-2008 and had also been seconded to the office of the Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad. 

In addition to his diplomatic responsibilities, Mr. Farsakh is a teaching fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
