Collin Roesler, associate professor of earth and oceanographic science, Emily Peterman, assistant professor of earth and oceanographic science, and Mary Lou Zeeman, R. Wells Johnson Professor of Mathematics, will introduce the exhibition "Sense of Scale, Measure of Color: Art, Science and Mathematics of Planet Earth" on view at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art through June 2, 2013. This show features displays of scale-crossing structures and features minerals and mathematical models from Bowdoin Collections. Supported by the Stevens L. Frost Endowment Fund and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
