A celebration of student scholarly achievement. All parents, students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend the ceremony featuring a keynote address by Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa, an internationally renowned neurosurgeon and neuroscientist who leads cutting-edge research to cure brain cancer-but not too long ago, he was a nineteen-year-old undocumented migrant worker toiling in the tomato fields of central California; a student address; books awarded; and musical performances by the Bowdoin College Department of Music. Seating is limited.
Marching faculty and staff will assemble in academic regalia promptly at 3:45 p.m. in front of Searles Science Building.
