NESCAC Names Winter All-Sportsmanship Team

HADLEY, Mass. - The New England Small College Athletic Conference has announced the Winter All-Sportsmanship Team for each winter sport sponsored by the conference. Eight student-athletes from Bowdoin have been honored in selections announced last week.

The following student-athletes were honored:
Men's Basketball - Andrew Sargeantson (New Canaan, Conn.)
Women's Basketball - Maria Noucas (Portsmouth, N.H.)
Men's Ice Hockey - Matt Smith (Yarmouth, Maine)
Women's Ice Hockey - Katie Coyne (Madison, Wis.)
Men's Squash - Jacob Sack (Wynnewood, Pa.)
Women's Squash - Emilie McKenna (Fairfield, Conn.)
Men's Swimming and Diving - Michael Tillotson (Seattle, Wash.)
Women's Swimming and Diving - Jessica Horstkotte (Winnetka, Ill.)

The All-Sportsmanship Team is composed of one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. The student-athlete selected must be in good academic standing and a member of the team at the conclusion of the season in order to be eligible for selection.
