Per Kirkeby: Paintings and Sculpture, organized by The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. opens at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art on March 26 and continues through July 14, 2013.

The co-curator of the exhibition, Klaus Ottmann, will deliver a lecture, "Per Kirkeby: Subjective Thinker, Anti-Artist, Historical Painter" on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 4:30 p.m., in Kresge Auditorium at Bowdoin College.   An open house at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art will follow from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the exhibition.
