The Bowdoin College Museum of Art will be closed to the public on Saturday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day. However, the Museum will be open on Friday, July 3 and Sunday, July 5, 2009.
Please plan to visit the Museum again soon. On Thursday evening, July 9, the Museum will host an open house from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. celebrating the summer's exhibitions. The reception is open to the public. Featured among this summer's exhibitions are ling-wen tsai: liminal landscapes; Winslow Homer at the Water's Edge; and Selected Paintings by Barbara Cooney.
