To reach Brunswick from the south:
Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 52. Continue on Route 295 to Exit 28 (Coastal Route 1, Brunswick/Bath).
To reach Brunswick from the north:
Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 103 then Route 295 to Exit 28 (Topsham-Brunswick, Route 1 North).
To reach the main campus from Route 295:
Take Route 1 North/Pleasant Street. Proceed to Maine Street; turn right on Maine Street and continue for approximately 0.5 mile. The Bowdoin campus begins at the intersection of Maine Street and Bath Road. The Museum is the domed third building on the left on Upper Park Row.
Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Closed on Mondays and national holidays.
please note: The Bowdoin College Museum of Art will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012
The Bowdoin College Museum of Art is open to the public free of charge, although donations are welcome. The Museum is wheelchair accessible through the Pavilion entrance.
