Michael Mazur, Fall Mountains for Kuo Shi

Fall Mountains for Kuo Shi, a triptych painting by Michael Mazur, is an homage to the Chinese landscape painting tradition. In his past fifty years of activity, Mazur has explored the bounds of realism, expressionism, and most recently, abstraction. He has been the recipient of numerous national awards, and his work is featured in collections including those of the Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
