The Visual Resources Collection consists of over 130,000 35mm slides and a mounting collection of high-resolution digital images representing the history of art. The collection is primarily developed for and used by the Art Department faculty but members of the Bowdoin College academic community are welcome to borrow slides for curricular use. If not in use by members of the Art Department, slides may be borrowed for a limited time and must be signed out. Slides may be used for educational purposes only and must not be duplicated in any form without proper copyright permission.
