Northward: Peary’s 1908-09 Expedition

Were obliged to leave them

A quiet day after having so many reporters around yesterday. Raining and thick fog. Rowed down to a big island at the end of tickle to try and catch two of our dogs. They were so wild we were obliged to leave them.
Marked out our North Pole flag in Mr. Croucher’s loft.
