Northward: Peary’s 1908-09 Expedition

Boxed and packed

Today I tried the knot's nest with the help of Au-quee-ah. First cut a ditch all around it then pared it away carefully to the size of the box. Then wrapped it carefully in thick paper and lifted it from the ground.
Have boxed and packed it solid for transportation.
