Northward: Peary’s 1908-09 Expedition

A cold night last night all the pools of water frozen over. A raw day.
    Eclipse of the sun this evening but beginning + end entirely obscured, + maximum obscuration partially so.
    About 9.- p.m. Borup came in with  a musk calf alive, + meat + skins of 3 cows from Clements Markham Inlet.
    He did not get to Columbia because of coming back with the calf.
