The Permanent Collection

In this gallery we introduce visitors to the diverse Arctic environment, Arctic peoples, and the work of Robert E. Peary and Donald B. MacMillan. Highlights of the exhibit include taxidermy mounts of Arctic animals, contemporary Inuit art, and a piece of the Cape York meteorite, which Peary brought to the United States from Northern Greenland in 1895.
