North Pole Expedition Centennial Events

Centennial Information

The Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Robert E. Peary's 1908-09 North Pole expedition with an Arctic film festival and symposium on April 3-4, 2009 and special events on April 6, 2009, the anniversary of the day Peary reached the North Pole.
