He went on five marches after Marvin left and was held up two days by open water and was 17 days coming back to the land. Was held up 3 or 4 days by open water. Coming back, said it was smooth ice and some days he made as much as 30 nautical miles. The Bar. is 30.09 tonight falling a little.
