Interviews on Campus

A personal interview is strongly encouraged and is available to any student who plans to enter Bowdoin in Fall 2010 as either a first-year or transfer. On campus interviews are available throughout the year from the third week of May until early December. Note: On-campus interviews for those entering in fall 2010 have concluded.

• Schedule an interview on campus with the Bowdoin Admissions Office. The interview schedule offers only what is presently available.
  If you are scheduling online an on-campus interview in addition to a tour and/or group information session, you only need to register for the interview.
• To reschedule and/or cancel an interview, please call the Bowdoin Admissions Office at (207) 725-3100.

Who will interview you on campus?

An admissions staff member or a Bowdoin senior, one of fourteen seniors carefully selected and trained for this purpose.

Interviews off Campus

Requests for off-campus interviews are taken from September 1 through 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time on December 15.  As interviews are not required, your application will not be considered incomplete without one.

Interviews are a smart idea

You can get answers to your questions about Bowdoin not addressed in other materials. You can show the interviewer who you really are; that is, the real person behind the application. It's a win-win situation. You benefit. Bowdoin benefits.
