Have an interview (optional, but encouraged)
Attend a group information session
Take a tour
Visit a class
Talk one-on-one with a professor (yes, students do that at Bowdoin)
Meet with a coach (or a music instructor or art professor, etc.)
Eat a meal (Did you know that the Princeton Review gave Bowdoin the #1 food ranking among all colleges in the U.S.?)
See the Polar Bear (the handsome statue of Bowdoin's unique mascot)
Walk around Brunswick - New England flavor, wide main street (called Maine Street), friendly people
See the Maine coast (5 minutes away)
Check out L.L. Bean (and other stores in Freeport, 15 minutes away)

Schedule an Interview

On campus interviews are available throughout the year from the third week of May until mid December
Who will interview you on campus
- An admissions staff member or...
- A Bowdoin senior, one of fourteen seniors carefully selected and trained for this purpose.
Why an interview makes good sense
- You can get answers to your questions about Bowdoin not addressed in other materials.
- You can show the interviewer who you really are; that is, the real person behind the application.
