Summer Construction
Summer is often a time for facility and infrastructure upgrades on college campuses. In that vein, on Monday June 3rd, the Town of Brunswick will begin a roadway reconfiguration project on Park Row and College Street near Burton-Little House (the Bowdoin Admissions Office).

While we don't anticipate that this will limit the availability of parking near Burton-Little, it may impact GPS navigation to our office, and it may be slightly confusing. We'll do our best to post clear signage to entrances and parking areas, but we ask for your patience with this road maintenance. You may also want to allow a few extra minutes to negotiate the construction zones.

We'll post specific updates about this project as they become available; we're sorry for the inconvenience!

Holiday Closures
Unfortunately, Bowdoin will not offer guided campus tours or general information sessions on Memorial Day (May 27) or on Independence Day (July 4).

While families are welcome to visit the college and explore the campus on these national holidays, most college offices and attractions (the Museum of Art, for example) will be closed.
 

Visiting Bowdoin

Bowdoin -- along with Carleton, Pomona, and Swarthmore Colleges -- will host a series of admissions events in May in the Western United States.

Each evening program will include college presentations followed by a general question-and-answer period about the admissions processes and opportunities at selective, residential, liberal arts colleges.

Interested students are encouraged to attend. There is no need to RSVP.
