Regional Interviews

If you find that it is not possible to have an interview on campus, we encourage you to interview with a member of the Bowdoin Alumni Schools and Interviewing Committee (BASIC) in your home region. There are BASIC volunteers in many areas of the United States and a number of foreign countries available to assist in the admissions process. Alumni interviews may be requested between September 1, 2009, and December 15, 2009, by completing the online request form. Candidates are strongly encouraged to schedule an interview as early as possible.

High School Visits

Our Admissions staff travels to close to 600 high schools every fall to meet with interested students. View the current schedule of visits in your area by navigating to your state/territory on this page. These sessions generally cover academic and extracurricular opportunities, as well as the admissions process. Any questions about Bowdoin will be welcomed. If Admissions staff will be visiting your high school, you will receive a letter and email notifying you of the date and time of the visit (assuming, of course, you are on our mailing list).
