Admissions

The admissions committee at Bowdoin College is pleased to consider applicants from qualified home-schooled students and recognizes home schooling as a viable alternative to public/private education. All such applications receive especially careful consideration in our evaluation process. We keep in mind that no two students are alike in their educational experience.

Note:

• Students home schooled at any point in their high school careers must complete and submit the Home-Schooled Supplement along with their applications.
• Home-schooled applicants are required to submit ACT test results OR SAT I test results with two or more SAT II test results. SAT II tests should include Math IC or Math IIC and a science.
• A personal interview is strongly recommended.
