Student Fellowships & Research

The College established the Office of Student Fellowships and Research in 2008 to support students' efforts to seek nationally competitive scholarship and to engage in research during their undergraduate career.

We encourage you to stop by our office in 108 Banister so that we may assist you in assessing the various scholarship/fellowship options available to you and the application process.

 Fellowships/Scholarships Database

We have created a Fellowships/Scholarships Database of selected fellowships, grants, and research opportunities available to undergraduates, graduates, post-graduates, and Ph.D. candidates, which do not require faculty nominations. The announcements include details on the scope and requirements of the individual fellowships and information regarding eligibility and deadlines. In addition, the Career Planning Center's resource library contains a number of books and directories on this topic.

Alumni also have access to Bowdoin scholarship aid for post-graduate study.
