I deliver courses that are in part inquiry-based by using service-learning techniques. I engage students with portions of their course material by having them address a problem presented to them by a community partner.

My weaknesses include grading group work, keeping projects to a manageable size, finding the right level of my involvement in project work. I am working on how to use PowerPoint as a tool to foster inquiry rather than transferring my notes into student notebooks.
