The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure track appointment in sociology at the level of assistant professor or instructor, beginning Fall 2008. Fields are open but we are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on race/ethnicity, with specialization in transnational race/ethnic formations, immigration, and/or multiracial identity. While race/ethnicity is of primary interest, other fields of interest include media, cultural studies, and religious or political conflict.
