Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in ethnomusicology for the academic year 2008-2009. Ph.D. strongly preferred. College teaching experience required. Teaching duties include 100-level survey course, preferably on music of the Caribbean, a 200-level ethnomusicological methods course, a senior seminar in ethnomusicology and either one more course or a year-long ensemble. Ability to contribute to Bowdoin's Latin American Studies program is desirable.
