Brunswick has plenty to offer for a quick diversion -- great restaurants, record and CD stores, two movie theaters, art galleries, golf courses, bowling alleys and more. Midcoast Maine offers outlet shopping in Freeport and great seacoast beaches. Portland, a vibrant city with a small-town feel, has museums to explore, Old Port shops to browse, and concerts, clubs and pubs to check out. And a couple of hours in a car will put you in Boston, Acadia National Park, or some of Maine's best recreational areas.
