Currently, I'm in California working on CrunchBase, a structured wiki project for TechCrunch.
Before that, I was the team captain for the Northern Bites, Bowdoin College's 4-Legged League RoboCup team. I started the project as summer research, continued it through my senior year, and then got hired for year as a research assistant working under the great tutelage of Professor Eric Chown.
We fully intended to nearly win the 2007 RoboCup World Championships, but it turns out that we actually won. In 2006, we finished tenth. And we met Drew Carey. Update: My arm appears in Drew Carey's Wikipedia page. I couldn't be more proud.
Radio shows I once DJ'ed for on WBOR Brunswick 91.1FM were: 'Columbian AL-GO-RHYTHMS', 'Columbian ALGEBRA' (both with Mort), 'Linear Runtime', and 'Exponential Runtime'. You can listen to WBOR worldwide here.
I graduated from Bowdoin College in '06 with degrees in Computer Science and American Government. I studied at The University of Otago in spring '05.
